Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Manager / Lead – Growth & Retention who can own and scale the end-to-end customer lifecycle — from acquisition to retention and revenue expansion. This role requires a strategic leader who can drive sustainable growth by optimizing not just CAC, but also retention, engagement, and LTV.

What You'll Do

  • Own and drive the overall growth strategy across acquisition, retention, and lifecycle marketing
  • Lead full-funnel growth initiatives with a strong focus on CAC efficiency, ROAS, LTV, and repeat behavior
  • Build and scale customer acquisition and retention engines across web and app ecosystems
  • Design and optimize lifecycle journeys across channels like email, WhatsApp, push notifications, and CRM platforms
  • Drive retention, reactivation, and engagement strategies to improve repeat rate and customer lifetime value
  • Lead experimentation across creatives, audience segmentation, funnel optimization, and lifecycle interventions
  • Partner closely with Product, Tech, and Creative teams to enhance user journeys, onboarding, and conversion rates
  • Drive data-led decision making through cohort analysis, attribution models, funnel tracking, and retention metrics
  • Manage and optimize marketing budgets across acquisition and retention channels
  • Identify and scale new growth levers such as affiliates, partnerships, referrals, and influencer channels
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing growth and lifecycle marketing team
  • Present strategic insights, growth plans, and retention strategies to leadership stakeholders

Key Skills & Expertise

  • 10+ years of experience in growth, performance, or lifecycle marketing
  • Strong understanding of full-funnel growth (Acquisition → Activation → Retention → Revenue)
  • Proven track record of improving LTV, retention, repeat rates, and overall customer engagement
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, and multi-channel acquisition strategies
  • Strong knowledge of CAC, ROAS, LTV, cohort analysis, and funnel metrics
  • Experience working in D2C / E-commerce / Marketplace / Consumer Tech businesses
  • Experience with CRM and lifecycle tools (MoEngage, CleverTap, WebEngage, Klaviyo, etc.)
  • Strong analytical mindset with hands-on experience in data tools and dashboards

Good-to-Have

  • Experience in app growth and lifecycle marketing (push, in-app, retention flows)
  • Exposure to GA4, GTM, MMPs (AppsFlyer, Adjust, etc.)
  • Experience in personalization, automation, and customer segmentation (RFM, cohorts)
  • Experience in omnichannel or offline-to-online integration
  • Prior experience in team leadership and cross-functional collaboration
