Role Overview
The Growth & Business Manager will be responsible for driving demand acquisition, enterprise client growth, and strategic account management for intra-city logistics in Delhi NCR. This role involves both hunting and farming responsibilities identifying high-potential B2B clients, closing logistics contracts, and ensuring long-term retention and revenue growth.
The candidate will also lead and mentor the Supply Chain Associate team while building scalable demand-generation processes.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Identification & Pipeline Development
- Map and identify B2B intra-city logistics demand across sectors including FMCG, D2C, e-commerce, pharma, industrial, modern retail, and quick commerce.
- Drive go to market strategies for Delhi NCR to identify businesses with recurring and on-demand intra-city freight requirements.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified accounts through field visits, outbound outreach, referrals, and partnerships.
- Categorize clients based on demand patterns such as scheduled deliveries or seasonal/on-demand requirements.
Client Acquisition & Solutioning
- Manage complete sales cycles from lead generation and discovery to commercial negotiations and contract closures.
- Design customized logistics solutions including vehicle mix, SLA structure, and pricing models.
- Collaborate closely with operations teams to validate supply availability and service feasibility.
- Drive monthly revenue and client acquisition targets.
Account Management & Retention
- Manage enterprise and mid-market client portfolios.
- Conduct regular business reviews and monitor SLA adherence.
- Build strong relationships with procurement, warehouse operations, supply chain, and finance stakeholders.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
Team Leadership & Process Management
- Hire, mentor, and manage Supply Chain Associates.
- Maintain CRM hygiene, demand mapping, and pipeline reporting.
- Share market insights and customer feedback with leadership and product teams.
- Build scalable processes for city-level demand acquisition and account management.
What We're Looking For
- A highly driven B2B sales professional with proven experience in intracity logistics, freight, supply chain, or mobility solutions.
- Strong understanding of intra-city logistics operations, vehicle utilization, route planning, and delivery economics.
- Experience managing enterprise or mid-market clients across FMCG, D2C, retail, e-commerce, industrial, or distribution sectors.
- Ability to build and scale client pipelines through field outreach, networking, strategic partnerships, and relationship management.
- Strong commercial acumen with expertise in negotiations, account growth, and solution-based selling.
- Hands-on experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, LeadSquared, Zoho CRM, or similar tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage CXOs as well as operational teams.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-oriented startup environment with high ownership and execution focus.
- Prior experience with logistics aggregators, freight-tech startups, supply chain platforms, or last-mile delivery companies will be a strong advantage.
