About The Role

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Group Product Manager - Marketing to lead brand management, product marketing, and growth initiatives for the assigned portfolio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, driving product performance, managing product launches, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and maximize brand profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Management & Marketing Strategy

  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to drive brand growth and profitability.
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of assigned brands, including planning, execution, and performance monitoring.
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop channel strategies and promotional plans to improve market penetration and sales performance.
  • Drive product positioning and implement innovative marketing initiatives.

Product Launch & Campaign Management

  • Plan and execute new product launches and promotional campaigns.
  • Design and monitor marketing campaigns, ensuring effective ROI.
  • Develop promotional materials, visual aids, leave-behind literature, advertisements, and marketing collateral.
  • Coordinate participation in conferences, CMEs, exhibitions, and industry events.
  • Conduct quarterly brand reviews and recommend strategic improvements.

Sales & Business Support

  • Work closely with the sales team to develop marketing initiatives that support revenue growth.
  • Monitor secondary sales trends and recommend corrective strategies to improve product performance.
  • Organize and deliver product training programs for sales and marketing teams.
  • Support achievement of sales targets, market share, profitability, and budget objectives.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate with internal departments, external agencies, and vendors for successful execution of marketing activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and business partners.
  • Ensure effective collaboration across marketing, sales, and training teams.

Reporting & Market Analysis

  • Track brand performance, campaign effectiveness, and market intelligence.
  • Prepare regular reports, presentations, and business reviews for management.
  • Provide recommendations based on market data, customer feedback, and competitor analysis.

Desired Candidate Profile

Educational Qualification

  • B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Graduate or Post Graduate in Marketing or a related discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Marketing.
  • Proven experience in Product Management, Brand Management, and Marketing Strategy.

Required Skills

  • Strong expertise in pharmaceutical product marketing and brand management.
  • Experience in product launches and campaign management.
  • Excellent analytical and market research skills.
  • Strong presentation and communication abilities.
  • Ability to develop and execute innovative marketing strategies.
  • Experience in KOL management and scientific marketing activities.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong stakeholder management and vendor coordination skills.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and project management abilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in managing multiple brands or product portfolios.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical market dynamics and customer behavior.
  • Exposure to digital marketing initiatives and omnichannel campaigns.
