Primary Responsibilities
- Supervise a team focusing on accurate and timely trade booking and settlements, ensuring tasks are prioritized accordingly to meet processing deadlines
- Strong Domain and have worked on Equity , Fixed Income Derivatives , ETFS , Mutual Funds Hedge Funds , Private Funds
- Work closely with front office and business partners to provide daily operational support included but not limited to trade entry, confirmations processing, settlements, and reconciliation
- Act as a subject matter expert on firm's operational workflows and processes
- Take responsibility and provide proactive communication while troubleshooting and resolving issues related to trade processing and settlements
- Identify risk issues and use good judgement in communicating issues to management attention and escalating matters when warranted.
- Strong knowledge of TLM/DUCO for Cash and stock/NOSTRO reconciliations., Alladin SimCorp Dimension, Alteryx.
- Know to Build Controls on process
- Play a key role in Risk Mitigating and ensuring the team adheres the same.
- Good reporting skills and understand on the drafting of KPI/KRA.
- Draft Training plan and know how to prepare new process flow maps.
- Perform Independent RCA and appraise the Sr Management regularly on the Process gaps.
- Build and work on Process Health Indicators and regular monitor the same.
- Play a key role in People Management and People grooming and track the low performers
- Address the areas of improvement and bring Cost efficiency and prepare blue print on FTE reduction
- Develop strong client relationships and partner with front office and IT to realize the full potential of operational workflows
- Actively ensure upward and downward communication of developments and issues
- Independently manage the Client and internal Governance such as Monthly review meeting Quarterly review meeting with both external /internal stakeholders.
- Hands on Experience on working the SOX Audit compliance and other ISO Quality Audits and coordinate with Auditors.
- Have delivered projects on FTE Savings and Head count reduction.
- Create and implement on People Grooming plan.
- Have Performed review and Conducted Appraisal and prepare the Employee Yearly Goals in alignment with the process targets.
Qualifications
- Full understanding of different types of products fixed income, equities and derivatives
- Understanding of the life cycle of the trade from execution to settlement
- Solid knowledge of Order Management Systems
- Understanding of operational risks and controls
- Analytical ability to evaluate the root causes of the problems and aptitude to understand complex workflows
- Able to manage variable workloads, understand urgency, multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines
- Strong teamwork ethic whilst also having the ability to function without explicit direction, challenge yourself to learn new things and continually improve
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience in financial services
- Recent and relevant experience in Trade Operations
- Strong knowledge of derivatives and publics products
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance or related field.
