Job Description

The role requires the candidate to play a critical role in diagnosing business and marketing challenges for an existing/new client and provide strategic solutions that can solve the problem defined. This position involves having a conceptual and applied understanding of investment planning, audience planning and media planning fundamentals and the ability to apply this knowledge towards growing a client's business.

Location - Gurgaon.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Build insight-led digital, media and communications strategies from scratch, grounded in audience, category and business objectives.
  • Turn ambiguous briefs/business problems into clear strategic frameworks, sharp narratives and actionable recommendations.
  • Support new business pitches with research, opportunity mapping, audience analysis and strategic storytelling.
  • Partner with media planning teams so strategic thinking translates into practical, high-quality integrated media ideas.
  • Lead deep-dive research across consumers, culture, category, competition and platforms to identify growth opportunities/white spaces.
  • Use AI and research tools to improve speed and quality of thinking while maintaining strong strategic judgement and output standards.
  • Develop insight-led digital/media/communications strategies based on audience understanding, category context and business objectives.
  • Decode briefs to identify the real business/marketing problem and frame the strategic response.
  • Build compelling presentations, pitch narratives, recommendation decks and strategic POVs.
  • Conduct research across consumers, culture, category, competition, platforms and performance signals.
  • Support new business development through opportunity mapping, audience sizing, strategic storytelling and whitespace identification.
  • Collaborate with media planning, client servicing, creative/content and analytics teams to convert strategy into workable media ideas and integrated planning approaches.
  • Bring data-backed problem solving, clear logic and high standards of output quality to daily work.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in marketing strategy, brand/communications strategy, digital media planning or integrated strategy.
  • Candidate should be at an intermediate-to-strong practitioner level: able to hit the ground running, learn independently and operate with minimal handholding.
  • Expert knowledge required: GWI, TGI, Similarweb, Comscore, AdClarity, Google Ads Manager, Meta Ads Manager, syndicated research, competitive intelligence platforms, desk research/databases, PowerPoint/Google Slides, Excel/Sheets, and AI tools for research synthesis, hypothesis building and narrative sharpening.
  • Good to have: DV360/Google Marketing Platform, Meta Business Suite, YouTube/Google Trends, social listening tools
  • Digital/Integrated media agencies, integrated creative agencies, strategy/planning teams, consultancies, publisher/platform strategy teams or client-side brand/digital strategy roles.
  • Strong exposure to pitches, integrated media/communication strategy, audience research, category/competitive landscaping and client presentations.
  • Useful category exposure: FMCG, BFSI/fintech, tech, auto, retail/e-commerce, entertainment, lifestyle, beauty, CPG, telecom or other high-digital-investment categories.
  • Candidate should have demonstrable examples of strategy development, pitch support and research-led assignments.
