Days of Working – 5 Days (Saturday & Sunday Fixed Off)
Overview:
We are looking for a strategic and result-oriented Group Head – Ecommerce to lead and scale marketplace business operations across platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra and other ecommerce channels.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in marketplace growth, account leadership, performance marketing, team management, and business strategy. What You'll Do:
- Lead and grow ecommerce marketplace business across Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, and other channels.
- Own and drive overall marketplace P&L, revenue growth, and profitability.
- Develop and execute ecommerce growth strategies for brands and marketplace accounts.
- Monitor and improve key business metrics including Sales, ROAS, TACOS, profitability, and account health.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with marketplace partners and key stakeholders.
- Lead marketplace advertising strategies including Sponsored Ads, PPC campaigns, and visibility initiatives.
- Drive promotional planning, pricing strategies, seasonal campaigns, and product launches.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Catalog, Performance Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain.
- Review weekly/monthly business performance and present strategic insights to leadership.
- Identify growth opportunities, category expansion, and optimization strategies.
- Ensure smooth operational execution including inventory planning, fulfillment, and account hygiene.
- Lead and mentor ecommerce/account management teams to drive high performance.
- Handle escalations and critical business issues with effective solutions.
- Manage budgets and optimize spends based on performance and profitability goals.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, and ecommerce marketplace ecosystems.
- Proven experience in scaling marketplace businesses and driving revenue growth.
- Strong knowledge of ecommerce advertising, PPC campaigns, and marketplace optimization.
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and commercial decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets and reporting dashboard knowledge.
- Ability to manage multiple brands/accounts and cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with proactive execution ability.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- 8–12 years of experience in ecommerce marketplace management, digital commerce, or agency operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce, or a related field.
- MBA preferred.
- Prior experience managing large ecommerce brands or agency portfolios.
- Strong understanding of marketplace analytics and performance tools.
- Experience in leading teams and handling large-scale ecommerce operations will be an added advantage.
