The Group Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team leads ABB's global planning and performance‑management processes. We provide high‑quality insights and reporting that support decision‑making for senior Business Leaders, Group Executives, and Investors.

As a Group FP&A Manager, you will play an important role in delivering accurate, timely and well‑structured Group management reporting - with a primary focus on the income statement. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and help clarify ABB's financial performance.

You will also support the financial processes behind ABB's corporate incentive programs, collaborating closely with HR and other partners on target setting, forecasting, accruals, and payout calculations.

This role suits a finance professional who brings demonstrated analytical discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a structured, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred locations: Poland/England/India

Your Responsibilities

Group reporting & performance analysis

  • Prepare accurate, timely Group management reporting packs during closing cycles.

  • Analyze Group P&L performance, identify key drivers and variances, and highlight trends.

  • Create clear, executive-ready reporting materials and presentations for senior leaders.

  • Ensure consistent and transparent treatment of one-offs and adjustments.

  • Contribute to scenario analysis and ad-hoc performance reviews.

Incentive program support

  • Support end‑to‑end financial processes for corporate incentive programs (target setting, forecasting, accruals, payout calculations).

  • Prepare analysis and presentations for governance forums, including the Compensation Committee.

  • Maintain documentation, controls, and financial governance in line with internal and regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinate the annual incentive‑cycle calendar and collaborate with HR to ensure clear communication and smooth execution.

Continuous improvement / transformation

  • Propose and implement improvements to reporting processes, templates, and ways of working.

  • Support transitions to new reporting tools and systems.

  • Solid modeling and file structuring capabilities

  • Openness to new technologies with a genuine commitment to continuously learn and adapt

  • Help enhance efficiency, transparency, and quality within recurring FP&A processes.

Your Background

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.

  • 8+ years of experience in finance, controlling, or FP&A roles.

  • Demonstrated ability to produce accurate, executive-level reporting under tight deadlines.

  • Experience in Group or large, international corporate reporting.

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills experience with SAP S/4HANA and reporting tools.

  • Knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP ACCA/CPA preferred.

  • Proficient English communicator with experience engaging stakeholders at different levels and functions.

  • High attention to detail, good professional judgment, and comfort working with recurring deadlines.

  • Collaborative, internationally minded professional who works well with colleagues across functions and borders.
