The Right Profile
We're hiring a Manager or Senior Manager to own the accounting, reporting and audit lifecycle for our regulated entities, with visibility across the group. This is a hands-on role reporting to the Head of Finance, working closely with Legal, People, Tax and external auditors.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the monthly, quarterly and annual close for Syfe entities and coordinate consolidated group reporting
- Prepare statutory financial statements under SFRS(I) / IFRS and manage external audits end-to-end
- Manage intercompany accounting, transfer pricing coordination and reconciliation of IC balances across the group
- Support tax compliance and tax reporting across Singapore and coordinate with local tax advisors on the group's Hong Kong, Australia and India tax positions
- Support regulatory financial reporting, capital adequacy monitoring and compliance coordination
- Drive technical accounting on new products, share-based payments, financial instruments and revenue recognition
- Design internal controls and drive automation across the finance stack; mentor a small team as the group scales
- Partner with the FP&A team on cost centre reporting, budget variance analysis and management reporting where accounting judgement informs the analysis
- Build and mentor a small team of junior finance analysts as the group scales
Minimum Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (CA / ACCA / CPA) with 5–8 years post-qualification experience (experience in Fintech preferrable)
- Strong technical foundation in IFRS / SFRS(I) — revenue recognition, financial instruments, share-based payments, leases
- Experience preparing statutory financial statements and managing external audits end-to-end
- Working knowledge of Singapore corporate tax, GST and MAS regulatory reporting expectations
- Excellent written communication — audit responses, board papers, regulator letters
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment; ability to turn ambiguity into structured process
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior MAS-regulated entity experience (asset manager, brokerage, digital bank, fintech)
- Multi-jurisdiction consolidation experience across Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia and India
- Familiarity with Ind AS or AASB; transfer pricing documentation experience
- Finance system implementation or automation project experience
