Job Description
We are seeking a Group Finance Manager to provide maternity cover within the Group Finance function and to lead improvements to the Group's management reporting and consolidation processes, with a view to the role becoming permanent and expanding in scope as the business expands. The role will have responsibility across management reporting, forecasting, maintenance reserve accounting, compliance and audit.
The successful candidate will be a technically strong accountant with the maturity to operate with a high degree of independence and take ownership of finance processes and projects.
In addition to core accounting and reporting responsibilities, the role will be expected to identify and implement improvements to the Group's finance processes, systems and reporting infrastructure. Experience managing finance projects, implementing reporting or consolidation solutions, or using technology and AI to improve finance processes would be highly desirable.
Reporting & Analysis
- Produce monthly Group management reporting.
- Prepare and enhance the monthly management reporting pack, including analysis of financial performance, trends and variances.
- Prepare relevant industry KPIs and financial ratios, including lease yield, net interest margin and leverage, for management and external reporting.
- Prepare monthly debt facility summaries and other financial analysis.
- Liaise with the Group's outsourced accounting providers to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- Review financial information from Group entities and identify discrepancies, inconsistencies and unusual movements.
Forecasting & Maintenance Reserves
- Maintain and update the Group long term financial forecast.
- Prepare MR revenue, utilisation and drawdown forecasts and monthly MR reporting.
- Maintain supporting SD/MR records and schedules.
- Manage MR billing and receipt monitoring and liaise with the Technical team on MR matters.
- Prepare Bank MR reporting and Aircraft Leasing Scheme / EDB reporting.
Compliance
- Monitor lease receipts and overdue balances.
- Support the management of Group banking arrangements
- Prepare the Australia BAS report and Singapore Statistics surveys.
Finance Projects, Systems & Process Improvement
- Take ownership of finance projects from design through implementation and delivery, coordinating internal and external stakeholders and ensuring robust processes and controls are established.
- Lead the development and implementation of an efficient Group SPV consolidation process, including standardising chart of accounts, intercompany balances and reporting across Group entities, working with outsourced accounting providers and assessing AI-enabled solutions.
- Identify opportunities to automate recurring accounting, consolidation, and reporting processes.
- Use existing systems and technology to improve the accuracy and scalability of the finance function.
Audit & Other Finance Activities
- Prepare audit schedules and supporting information and take responsibility for managing audit deliverables and queries within agreed timelines.
- Support the Group's financing and investment activities and undertake other ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required.

. Resourceful, proactive self-starter with strong organisational skills.
. Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines and work effectively without sourced providers.
. Strong written and verbal English excellent attention to detail and a team player.
. Aviation, aircraft leasing, asset finance, automation, AI or other technology-enabled finance experience advantageous.

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Monthly Salary: S$13,000 - S$15,000 (depending on experience)
