Our client is a Singapore headquartered manufacturing company with operations across Asia. As part of its continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Group Finance Manager to join their Finance team.
Reporting to the Group Finance Controller, this is a key leadership role where you will oversee Group financial reporting, consolidation, governance, treasury, and finance transformation while leading and developing a team.
This opportunity is ideal for finance professionals who have built a strong technical accounting foundation through 4–5 years of external audit experience and have since gained hands-on Group consolidation experience within a sizeable organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Group monthly close and consolidation process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS/SFRS.
- Oversee statutory reporting, external audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Strengthen internal controls, governance frameworks, and finance policies.
- Manage treasury activities, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, banking facilities, and foreign exchange exposure.
- Drive finance transformation initiatives, ERP optimisation, automation, and continuous process improvements.
- Partner with senior business leaders to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Support business expansion initiatives and cross-functional projects across the Group.
- Lead, mentor and develop a finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- 8–10 years of progressive finance experience, including 4–5 years in external audit.
- Strong hands-on Group consolidation experience within a sizeable organisation is essential.
- Prior experience leading or mentoring a finance team.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge under IFRS/SFRS and experience managing statutory audits.
- Regional exposure across Southeast Asia and/or China will be advantageous.
- Experience within the manufacturing, industrial, semiconductor, or technology sectors is preferred.
- Exposure to ERP systems (NetSuite is an advantage) and finance transformation initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and business partnering skills.
