Group Compliance & Controls (Senior Manager / Associate Director) with an Innovative High Growth MNC
Our client is hiring two dynamic, forward-thinking Senior Managers (could be Associate Director levels) to join their Group Risk and Compliance team. This is a critical time of positive transformation to accelerate international growth and expansion.
You will help create, restructure, reinvigorate, and re-work their group Compliance and Controls program to ensure it is robust, agile, and fit-for-purpose. Operating as a strategic individual contributor, you will navigate uncharted waters within a large complex organization and drive massive program enhancements.
Core Responsibilities
- Program Reinvigoration: Evaluate, re-work, and structure the group-wide compliance framework across multiple international business units and divisions.
- Proactive Risk Management: Anticipate complex compliance issues and operational roadblocks in advance during the set-up and restructuring phases.
- Hands-on & Strategic Execution: Drive major program initiatives from high-level strategy down to execution, specifically focusing on systems enhancement, automation, and tech-driven compliance solutions.
- Policy & Advisory: Partner closely with legal teams to implement robust controls for Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC) and Trade Compliance (Sanctions & Export Controls).
- Stakeholder Engagement: Actively engage with regional stakeholders across divisions to secure buy-in, manage change, and foster a risk-aware culture during a period of heavy transformation.
Desired Skills & Requirements
- Experience: 8–10 years in Compliance and Controls gained from International / Global / Regional Multinationals (MNCs). A mix of regulated and less regulated industries experience will be advantageous
- Domain Expertise: A strong blend of Anti-Bribery (ABC) and Trade Compliance/Sanctions expertise (Candidates with deep mastery in at least one area who can rapidly scale up in the other will be considered)
- Industry Background: Proven track record in complex, fast-paced MNCs within Technology Manufacturing, Technology, or Manufacturing sectors.
- Geographic Exposure: Experience managing international portfolios with specific exposure to the APAC and US markets.
