About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Chief Enterprise Architect to lead and institutionalize the Enterprise Architecture function for a large, diversified enterprise undergoing significant digital and business transformation.
This executive leadership role will define and govern the target-state architecture across business capabilities, enterprise platforms, applications, data, integrations, technology, and cybersecurity. The successful candidate will serve as the enterprise design authority, ensuring alignment between business strategy, digital transformation, and technology investments.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and lead the Enterprise Architecture practice, governance framework, standards, and review processes.
- Define enterprise-wide architecture across business, application, data, integration, technology, and security domains.
- Drive enterprise transformation through architecture-led decision-making and operating model alignment.
- Provide architectural oversight of ERP and enterprise platforms, ensuring scalability, standardization, and sustainability.
- Lead application modernization, legacy rationalization, and technology simplification initiatives.
- Establish enterprise data, integration, and interoperability standards, including MDM and governance frameworks.
- Govern low-code/no-code platforms to enable agility while maintaining enterprise controls.
- Partner with cybersecurity leadership to ensure secure, resilient, and compliant architecture decisions.
- Influence senior stakeholders and provide architectural guidance for strategic investments and transformation programs.
Requirements
- 18+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Technology Leadership, or Large-Scale Transformation.
- Proven experience building and leading Enterprise Architecture functions within complex organizations.
- Strong expertise in enterprise platforms, application rationalization, data architecture, integrations, and governance.
- Experience working in multi-entity, project-driven, industrial, EPC, infrastructure, energy, or manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive enterprise-wide architecture decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
- TOGAF or equivalent Enterprise Architecture certification strongly preferred.
