Grinding Operator

Hical Technologies is looking for an experienced Grinding Operator to join our Production Machine Shop team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in Aerospace or Automobile manufacturing and expertise in operating grinding machines, macro programming, and GD&T principles. The role involves setting up and running grinding machines, ensuring quality outputs, maintaining production targets, and mentoring trainees. Knowledge of AS9100D requirements, various checking instruments, and continuous improvement processes like 5S and Kaizen is essential.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate grinding machines as per given documents.
• Ensure accurate part setup within the planned setting time.
• Monitor and document quality outputs, ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Perform cutting tool life monitoring and ensure optimal tool usage.
• Maintain proper communication with the team to ensure smooth workflow.
• Meet production targets as per the planned schedule.
• Ensure wheel balancing and proper usage of checking instruments like Air Gauges.
• Adhere to AS9100D requirements, 5S, and Kaizen principles for process improvements.
• Train and mentor new joiners and trainees in grinding operations.
