Senior Software Test Engineer - Power Systems & Grid Analytics

We are looking for an experienced Software Test Engineer to join our team and ensure the quality, accuracy, and reliability of a cloud-based grid modelling and power system analysis platform. The ideal candidate will have strong software testing expertise along with a solid understanding of power systems and grid integration concepts

Experience: 8-10 Years

Location: Bangalore

Employment Type: Full-Time

Requirements:

8+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in engineering, energy, or analytical software.
Strong experience testing web applications and cloud-based platforms.
Understanding of electrical power systems, grid integration, and Renewable Energy (Solar/Wind/BESS).
Experience with test automation frameworks and validating simulation or mathematical software.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems.

Responsibilities:

Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
Validate grid modelling features, power system calculations, and simulation outputs.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
Perform API testing and cloud workflow validation.
Ensure compliance with grid codes and electrical standards.
Collaborate with product owners, developers, and power system engineers to deliver high-quality software.
