Key Responsibilities
- Interpret scope for network modelling, system studies, and planning
- Define high-level modelling approach (tools, fidelity, scenarios)
- Cover:
- Load flow, stability, contingency analysis
- Renewable integration scenarios
- Transmission & distribution modelling standards
- Strong understanding of grid codes, planning standards, and reliability criteria
- Recommend modelling toolchain (PSS/E, DIgSILENT, PSCAD etc.)
- Outline deliverables for feasibility, optioneering, and planning stages
- Identify risks, assumptions, and dependencies
Profile
- 12–18 yrs experience in power system studies
- Strong T&D or grid operator background
- Experience contributing to bids / proposals preferred
- Power system planning and early project development
- Integration of modelling, cost, risk, and delivery considerations
Qualifications
- Degree or Master's in Electrical / Power Systems Engineering
