- Develop robust tire designs that meet expectations in architecture, quality, industrial performance, and project timelines.
- Deliver production-ready tires that evolve with changing customer requirements and industrial performance needs, including:
- Quality improvements
- Green and cured model evolutions
- Process improvements
- Ensure measurable success through key industrial performance indicators.
- Develop and implement tools, processes, and methods that drive business results.
- Document technical knowledge and best practices to ensure long-term team sustainability.
Mains Activities
- Define manufacturing tire design specifications for the plant.
- Use advanced CAD tools to design and simulate tire models across different manufacturing process stages.
- Assess the manufacturability of new R&D prototype tire designs using existing processes and propose technical solutions to meet timing, performance, and cost objectives.
- Participate in or lead cross-functional Industrial Quality Planning teams for new R&D tire projects, including risk analysis, feasibility studies, and action plan development.
- Evaluate prototype tire build results to ensure conformance with design models.
- Provide technical support to plants during the start-up phase of new R&D tire designs.
- Summarize project results and present periodic reviews to R&D and Industrial teams.
- Collaborate and exchange technical expertise with global teams across Europe, the US, and Asia.
- With increasing experience, mentor and train team members to strengthen technical expertise within the R&D tire design community.
