This is a senior leadership mandate with full P&L ownership - spanning business development, services revenue growth, delivery governance, and strategic client relationships. The successful candidate will operate at the intersection of regulatory domain expertise and AI-powered intelligence solutions, translating complex compliance imperatives into scalable, technology-augmented service offerings.
You will define and execute SCIENTE's GRC go-to-market strategy, anchor key client engagements, and build a high-performing practice capable of delivering measurable outcomes across the financial crime and regulatory landscape.
Essential
- 12+ years of progressive experience in GRC, financial crime compliance, or risk management within BFSI
- Demonstrated P&L accountability in a consulting, services, or technology firm serving BFSI clients
- Deep expertise in AML, pKYC, UBO identification, and Third-Party Vendor Risk Management (TPVRM)
- Experience deploying AI/ML-powered compliance solutions (transaction monitoring, entity resolution, risk scoring)
- Strong understanding of various regulatory frameworks
- Proven track record of winning and growing client accounts in the BFSI sector
Highly Regarded
- Familiarity with RegTech platforms (NICE Actimize, LSEG World-Check, Quantexa, ComplyAdvantage, etc.)
- Understanding of graph analytics for UBO and network risk visualisation
- Regional APAC regulatory knowledge and established BFSI client network
Responsibilities
- Own full P&L for the GRC services practice - revenue targets, margin, and growth pipeline
- Drive business development across banks, insurance firms, asset managers, and FinTechs
- Craft and position compelling service propositions for AML, pKYC, UBO, TPVRM, and compliance reporting
- Lead RFP responses, solutioning, and commercial negotiations at C-suite level
- Build and manage a qualified pipeline through partnerships, alliances, and direct origination
- Govern end-to-end services delivery - quality, SLA adherence, and client satisfaction
- Establish robust delivery frameworks and escalation protocols across engagements
- Champion continuous improvement and innovation in service execution
- Build, mentor, and scale a multidisciplinary GRC team of domain consultants and solution architects
- Maintain executive-level client relationships and act as a trusted strategic advisor
