Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Packaging Designer to join our manufacturing team in Mumbai. The role involves designing innovative, functional, and sustainable packaging solutions for consumer electronics products. The ideal candidate will combine creativity with technical expertise to ensure packaging enhances product appeal, protects goods during transit, and aligns with manufacturing and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Packaging Design & Development
• Create packaging concepts tailored to consumer electronics manufacturing requirements.
• Develop prototypes and mock-ups for internal and client approvals.
• Material Selection & Manufacturing Feasibility
• Identify cost-effective, durable, and eco-friendly materials.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are feasible for large-scale manufacturing.
• Brand Integration
• Ensure packaging reflects corporate branding and enhances customer experience.
• Incorporate innovative design elements to differentiate products in competitive markets.
• Cross-functional Collaboration
• Work closely with product engineers, marketing, and supply chain teams.
• Coordinate with vendors, printers, and suppliers for execution.
• Compliance & Standards
• Ensure packaging meets safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends, sustainability practices, and manufacturing innovations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Industrial Design, Fine Arts, or related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in packaging design, preferably in consumer electronics or manufacturing.
• Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD tools).
• Strong knowledge of materials, printing techniques, and production processes.
• Excellent creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills.
