Graphic Designer

We're hiring a Graphic Designer who makes brands look sharp — and has fun doing it.

The Data Duck is a strategy, design, and AI consultancy based in Mumbai. We work with founders, C-suite leaders, and brands across financial services, B2B, infra, and consumer sectors — helping them think clearly and communicate sharply. Design isn't decoration for us, it's how the thinking gets seen.

We're a small, fast-moving team that takes the work seriously and ourselves less so. What you'll actually be doing:

• Designing across the full spectrum — brand identities, pitch decks and presentations, social media creative, marketing collateral, and digital assets for our clients and for The Data Duck itself
• Translating strategy and messaging into visuals that are clean, confident, and on-brand — no fluff, no filler
• Owning projects end to end: from a rough brief or a scribbled idea in a meeting, through concepting, iteration, and final delivery
• Working closely with our strategy and client teams to understand the why behind a brief, not just the what
• Maintaining and evolving brand guidelines for multiple client accounts simultaneously
• Keeping a sharp eye on typography, layout, and visual hierarchy — the details that separate good design from forgettable design
• Staying current on design trends and tools, and bringing fresh references and ideas into the studio

What we're looking for:

• 2–4 years of experience in graphic design — agency, in-house, or consultancy background all welcome
• A portfolio that shows range: brand work, decks, social content, print or digital collateral
• Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and/or Figma
• An eye for typography, color, and layout that doesn't need to be explained to you
• Comfort working on multiple projects and client accounts at once, without dropping quality
• The ability to take feedback well and iterate fast — we move quickly here
• Bonus: experience with motion graphics, presentation design, or basic video editing
