Role Description

We are looking for a creative and learning-oriented Designer Trainee to join Team Counsel. Whether you are an entry-level professional looking for a full-time start or an experienced designer open to a consultant/freelance engagement, we want to hear from you. This is about true visual communication - turning concepts into impactful visual experiences. In this role, you will help own our brand's visual projects from concept to execution. You will create structured LinkedIn carousels, engaging static creatives, and snappy short-form videos. You will team up closely with our content and growth team to build trust, clarity, and a strong market presence for Team Counsel.

Please Note:

• We are open to both full-time and consultant/freelance engagements based on candidate experience and fit.
• A portfolio is strictly required for all applicants; we value your actual work, problem-solving skills, and creative thinking much more than formal education.
• The role is remote as of now, with potential in-person collaboration requirements in the future as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• 6 - 12 months of full-time corporate or formal internship experience in a design role 
• Proven experience handling brand-related work and taking ownership of design projects.
• Strong video editing skills for short-form content using CapCut or similar tools.
• High proficiency in Canva, which will serve as the primary tool for daily execution.
• Strong core understanding of layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and social media design principles.
• Effective visual communication skills, with the ability to turn abstract ideas and raw content into structured, engaging visuals.
• Ability to work independently while acting as a strong team collaborator, managing timelines, and adapting to a fast-paced learning environment.
• Professionalism, commitment, and a problem-solving mindset.
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or exposure to motion and animation tools will be an added advantage.
