Company Description Praja App is a free hyperlocal vernacular social network designed for Bharath users in Tier 2 and 3 locations. The platform enables users to easily discover and consume local news and events happening in their village, mandal, or district, directly from local administration and verified sources. Community members can share updates themselves or browse personalized feeds to stay informed about their neighborhood. Praja App focuses on local relevance, language accessibility, and trustworthy information, helping users never miss important happenings around them. Role Description: Praja is looking for a Graphic Designer & Short-video editor(Malayalam) with a strong eye for aesthetics and digital visuals. You'll design and edit highly appealing, shareable creatives in Malayalam that will be used across political, civic, and community-focused content on the Praja App.

This role is fully focused on creating image and video-led visual content that captures attention and drives engagement.

Work Location: Bangalore

Experience: 3+ years

Salary range: ₹30,000–₹50,000 per month + Benefits

Background: Designing/Editing Only

Preferred: Candidates with good Political knowledge / experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain designs adhering to the platform guidelines
• Create, edit, and publish high-quality image posters and video posters for campaigns and day-to-day content.
• Design explainers, infographics, and templates that simplify information visually.
• Produce short-form videos and motion graphics optimised for social media and app-based audiences.
• Ensure all creatives are visually consistent, on-brand, and tailored for Kerala users.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Good sense of visual hierarchy, typography, colour, and layout for digital content, with strong understanding of political and organisational themes, colours, and symbols.
• 3+ years of experience in graphic designing and video editing.
• Strong command over tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar.
• Ability to design high-impact posters, infographics, templates, short videos, and motion graphics.
• Good sense of visual hierarchy, typography, colour, and layout for digital content, with strong understanding of political and organisational themes, colours, and symbols.
• Proficiency in Malayalam is highly preferred

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: ₹30,000–₹50,000 per month
