Position: Graphic Designer

Department: Design / Pre-Press

Location: Bhopal

Experience: 13 Years (Printing Press experience preferred)

Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Graphic Designer for our printing press who can design print materials and prepare accurate print-ready files including plate making for offset printing. The candidate should have strong knowledge of pre-press processes and printing standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design print materials such as visiting cards, brochures, flyers, banners, posters, catalogues, packaging, and promotional materials.

Prepare print-ready artwork with proper bleed, crop marks, margins, and CMYK color mode.

Handle plate making (CTP/offset plates) and ensure files are correctly prepared for plate output.

Check artwork for font issues, image resolution, color accuracy, and alignment before printing.

Coordinate with the printing and production team to ensure smooth workflow.

Make modifications and corrections based on client requirements.

Maintain proper records of design files and printing plates.

Ensure high-quality and error-free output before final printing.

Required Skills

Proficiency in CorelDRAW, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and InDesign.

Knowledge of pre-press processes, color correction, and layout design.

Understanding of plate making, CTP process, DPI, bleed, and crop marks.

Strong typography and layout skills.

Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Educational Qualification

Diploma / Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field.

Experience

Minimum 13 years experience in a printing press, design studio, or advertising agency.

Salary

As per experience and industry standards.
