Job Purpose:
Responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing all creative and promotional visuals required for marketing campaigns, in-store branding, product launches, and digital communications, ensuring brand consistency, visual appeal, and timely delivery of designs that effectively communicate the company's identity and marketing intent and digital platforms.
Principal Accountabilities:
Creative Design and Brand Visualisation
- Conceptualize and execute creative layouts for promotional campaigns, in-store branding, vehicle advertisements, digital media, and seasonal themes.
- Translate marketing briefs into visually compelling graphics aligned with Ramraj's brand aesthetics and Customer appeal.
- Design pamphlets, product catalogues, backdrops, and event materials ensuring consistent use of fonts, colors, and imagery.
- Develop festival-specific creative themes for regional and national campaigns in coordination with the marketing team.
- Review and refine existing templates to improve layout clarity, color consistency, and production accuracy.
- Ensure all designs comply with printing standards, digital ratios, and technical specifications.
Digital and Print Media Development
- Design and optimize creatives for multiple media channels such as website banners, digital ads, and store-based TV screens.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to adapt designs for social media platforms, ensuring visual consistency and engagement.
- Coordinate with print vendors for proof approvals, material finalization, and color corrections.
- Maintain organized archives of artworks with proper naming conventions and version tracking.
- Develop visual templates for recurring campaigns to enhance design efficiency.
- Ensure delivery timelines for both digital and print assets are met as per campaign schedules.
Project Management and Workflow Coordination
- Plan daily design activities, prioritize urgent tasks, and track status using project trackers or workflow sheets.
- Liaise with marketing, sales, and operations teams to gather detailed creative briefs and ensure clarity before design initiation.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with vendors, printers, and external creative partners to meet deadlines.
- Manage feedback cycles effectively, incorporating changes while maintaining design integrity.
- Support the Assistant Manager in consolidating weekly creative status reports and issue logs.
- Maintain design resource folders and assist in document preparation for audits or creative reviews.
Innovation and Professional Development
- Continuously explore new design concepts, layouts, and animation styles to keep campaigns fresh and modern.
- Upgrade proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and relevant design tools through regular self-learning.
- Benchmark competitors creative outputs to identify improvement opportunities in Ramraj's brand presentation.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for product promotions and visual storytelling.
- Maintain awareness of new trends in typography, packaging, and regional aesthetics that resonate with the target audience.
- Document creative learnings and share best practices within the design team
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Quality Assurance
- Partner with the marketing, retail, and e-commerce teams to ensure visuals align with business objectives and seasonal requirements.
- Conduct quality checks on all creatives prior to print or release to ensure correctness of logos, store addresses, and content placement.
- Support the procurement and admin teams in the installation of visual elements across stores and events.
- Provide creative recommendations during campaign planning meetings to enhance impact and coherence.
- Maintain confidentiality of upcoming campaigns and ensure secure handling of brand assets.
- Promote a culture of creative discipline, teamwork, and accountability within the advertisement team.
Qualification
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design /Visual Communication / Fine Arts.
Relevant experience
2-5 years of experience in creative design, preferably in retail or advertising environments.
Knowledge
- Design principles, layout composition, color psychology, and typography.
- Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and InDesign.
- Printing processes, digital resolutions, and media specifications.
