JD for the post of pre press operator
- Preparing printing file for digital printing
- Layout, bleed, cutting mark, perforation mark setup.
- Imposition for booklet.
- Making sure that all files are compatible with the printer's system.
- Set up and operate a variety of prepress equipment, including but not limited to computer-to-plate (CTP) devices, image setters, and proofing systems.
- Perform color correction, retouching, and other digital manipulation of images as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of job progress and materials used.
- Troubleshoot problems with files, seeking assistance from superiors as needed.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years experience in a prepress, print production, or graphic design role.
- Proficiency with design software, including Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent color vision and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work overtime when needed.
