Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually appealing and well-structured and materials using desktop publishing software. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that our company's publications meet high-quality standards.

Proficiency in software - Adobe photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator and Corel Draw.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Layout:
  
  

Create visually appealing and well-structured documents, brochures, flyers, and other materials using desktop publishing software (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop).

• Typography:
  
  

Ensure accurate and attractive typography, including font selection, size, spacing, and alignment, to enhance readability and visual appeal.

• Image Manipulation:
  
  

Edit and enhance images to complement the design, including resizing, cropping, color correction, and image optimization.

• File Preparation:
  
  

Prepare print-ready files, including setting up bleeds, color profiles, and ensuring proper document dimensions.

• Quality Control:
  
  

Review and proofread materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.

• Collaboration:
  
  

Work closely with the marketing, design, and content teams to understand project requirements and provide DTP support.

• Template Development:
  
  

Create and maintain templates for various documents, ensuring brand consistency and efficiency in future design work.

• Output Management:
  
  

Manage the printing process, including selecting appropriate paper stocks, coordinating with print vendors, and overseeing the production of physical materials.

• Digital Publishing:
  
  

Adapt designs for digital formats, including websites, e-books, and social media platforms, ensuring responsive and user-friendly layouts.

• Client Communication:
  
  

Communicate with clients or internal stakeholders to gather requirements, present design concepts, and incorporate feedback

Qualifications

• Proven experience in desktop publishing, preferably in a professional setting.
• Proficiency in desktop publishing software - Adobe photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator.
• Strong knowledge of typography, page layout, and graphic design principles.
