About the Role

The role involves understanding the university's vision, academic ethos, and communication objectives, and translating them into impactful visual narratives across digital and print platforms. Responsible for conceptualizing and creating compelling design solutions that strengthen the university's brand identity and visual communication. Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and design creative visual assets aligned with the university's brand strategy and communication goals.
  • Develop brand guidelines and ensure consistent visual identity across all university touchpoints — including schools, departments, events, and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the communications, admissions, and digital teams to design marketing materials for print, web, and social media.
  • Create engaging layouts, illustrations, infographics, and visual storytelling content for brochures, presentations, newsletters, and event collaterals.
  • Translate complex academic or institutional concepts into accessible and visually appealing content.
  • Stay updated on design trends in education branding and apply innovative approaches to elevate the university's visual presence.
  • Review and guide design team members to maintain visual consistency and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (faculty, administration, student representatives) to understand requirements and deliver timely design solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or related field.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of brand communication and design strategy.
  • Proven experience as a Visual Designer, Graphic Designer, or similar role — preferably in education, media, or creative agencies.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.
  • Strong sense of typography, color, layout, and composition.
  • Ability to balance creativity with institutional communication needs.
  • Portfolio demonstrating brand-led design work and creative storytelling ability.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a deadline-driven academic environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in designing for educational institutions.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies.
