Job purpose

The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography. Good Knowledge of web and mobile design and solid experience in creating UI designs storyboards, user flows.

Duties and responsibilities

• Translate high-level business requirements into tangible user interface solutions that integrate the latest standards in interaction design and visual design trends.
• Proficiency to establish the visual design language of the project.
• Provide a clear justification for design decisions with relevant data and sound judgment.
• Experience leveraging a design style guide/system to optimize and enhance visual experiences.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets.
• Create compelling and effective designs for print and digital media (web, mobile)
• Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape, and market trends
• Excellent written and oral communication in English
• Strong desire to learn and apply new thinking to her/his work.
• Strong visual design skills with an eye for typography, color, layout.
• Expert skill level in the standard tools of the design trade such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop.
• Understands clean design concepts where the message is more important than the design.
• Strong conceptualization with a creative approach.
• Ability to communicate with clients to understand requirements.
• Collaboration with designers and excellent communication skills to help others understand their vision for the project.
• Keep track of the overall visual brand and make it stand out of the crowd. Aim to be recognized among the best.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and advancements in design and technology, integrating them into your team's work when appropriate.

• Understand storyboards and script content and deliverables.
• Good knowledge on design guidelines, style sheets

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in fine arts/Graphic Design or related field, Multimedia
• 3 to 6 plus years of experience
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Proficient in Microsoft office, Excel.

UG: BSc/BFA

PG: MSc/MFA
