Role Description

We're looking for a multi-talented, creative-first designer who can build and evolve the visual identity of Materialogue across digital touchpoints from social media to platform UI assets. This role blends brand storytelling, visual design, short-form video editing, and AI-assisted creative production to deliver engaging and scalable content. The ideal candidate is hands-on, fast, and imaginative someone who can ideate like a storyteller, execute like a designer, and leverage AI tools to enhance speed and impact.

Responsibilities:

1. Brand & Visual Identity

  • Develop and maintain a consistent visual language for Dwellyx across all platforms (social media, website, platform UI, decks, and marketing material, both digital and print).
  • Translate the brand's ethos design, innovation, community into distinctive and modern visual narratives.

2. Digital Marketing Creatives

  • Design static and carousel posts, ad creatives, infographics, and campaign banners for social media and performance marketing.
  • Collaborate with the digital marketing and content team to visualize campaign ideas.
  • Create visuals for newsletters, case studies, and PR content.

3. Video & Motion Graphics

  • Create short-form video content such as reels, explainers, and motion posts for social media and product showcases.
  • Create video snippets that highlight product features, designer stories, and partner brands.

4. Platform & Product Visual Support

  • Support UI/UX and tech teams with design assets for the web platform banners, icons, illustrations, and micro-animations.
  • Ensure all creatives align with the platform's aesthetic and user experience.

5. AI & Design Automation

  • Use AI tools (e.g. Midjourney, Runway ML,Canva AI, ChatGPT, etc.) to speed up ideation and asset generation.
  • Experiment with prompt-based visuals and AI video tools for creative efficiency.
  • Stay updated on emerging AI design tools and integrate them into workflows.

Qualifications:

Creative & Technical Skills

  • 35 years of experience in digital and brand design (preferably in startups, design, or lifestyle sectors).
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro) or equivalent tools.
  • Proficiency in Canva, Figma (for layouts, web assets).
  • Strong sense of typography, color theory, and composition.
  • Video editing skills (Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional clips).
  • Ability to ideate, storyboard, and visualize campaign concepts.

AI & Innovation

  • Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools (image and video generation, layout automation, prompt-based design).
  • Comfort experimenting and learning new tools quickly.

Mindset & Soft Skills

  • Fast executor with startup agility thrives in high-energy, evolving environments.
  • Strong communication skills to understand creative briefs and translate them visually.
  • Balance between aesthetics and business goals design that drives engagement and conversions.
  • Self-starter, organized, and reliable with timelines.

Bonus Skills (Good to Have)

  • Experience working with SaaS, marketplaces, or design industry brands.
  • Photography or content direction experience.
  • Basic understanding of UX/UI principles for digital interfaces.
  • Interest in architecture, interiors, or lifestyle branding.

Education:

Bachelor's/Master's degree (or equivalent) in graphic design, art, or related discipline.

CTC:

2.0L - 3.0L per annum

Growth Path:

As the company scales, this role can evolve into Creative Lead / Art Director, overseeing brand identity, content design team, and production pipeline.
