Job Summary
The primary purpose of this role is to consult with business partners and learning peers to design and develop assets tied to the learning strategies. This includes responsibility for understanding design needs and facilitating conversations with Instructional Designers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), determining appropriate design approaches for different learning modalities. This role requires you to be a visual storyteller with a keen eye for detail. You should be able to think outside of the box when bringing design ideas to life, while working within brand guidelines.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop aesthetic design assets for e-learning, videos and presentations based on the approved concepts.
- Visualize concepts and creates engaging instructional media from Storyboards or creative brief.
- Create assets such as icons, infographics, animations, charts, edit images and create videos ensuring high levels of quality.
- Use graphic design tools from Adobe Creative Cloud to develop interactive and immersive graphics.
- Interact with instructional designers for visualization of the graphics.
- Maintain graphic standards guidelines and checklists for the project.
- Use design tools such as eLearning motion graphics, multimedia design using tools such as Adobe Photoshop Illustrator and After Effects.
- Develop videos using rapid video authoring tools like Vyond.
- Present the design work to Learning consultants, SMEs and Instructional Designers.
- Build understanding of and apply Lowe's brand guidelines in every deliverable.
- Participate and contribute to brainstorming sessions within the team to generate new ideas.
- Apply page layout design and create scalable template in PowerPoints.
- Organize and archive graphic design assets.
Years Of Experience
- Overall Design experience of 2 years, designing learning experiences for global learners.
- Experience in establishing credibility with stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and design skills with extensive working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure quality.
- Ability to bring innovative Instructional design ideas and proposals to the team that can improve associate learning experience.

- Showcase a wide portfolio of work that demonstrates aesthetic and strategically creative solutions.
- Good understanding of design fundamentals such as color theory and how to apply them.
Education Qualification & Certifications (optional)
Required Minimum Qualifications
Candidate must have completed their graduation. Bachelors degree, preferably in Graphic Design or related discipline
Skill Set Required
Primary Skills (must have)
- Advanced Powerpoint and Word Skills
- Expert in Adobe Creative Cloud (photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat)
- Advanced knowledge in video production/editing
- Good communication skills
Secondary Skills (desired)
- Articulate 360 Studio/Rise
- Knowledge of 3D modelling software
