Role Overview
We're looking for a Graphic Designer who can create thumb-stopping, platform-native content at speed. This role is focused on execution, visual hooks, and performance-driven design across Instagram and YouTube.
You will work closely with copy, strategy, and creative leads to bring ideas to life in a way that is visually compelling and built for engagement.
Roles & Responsibilities
Content Creation & Execution
- Design creatives for:
- Instagram (posts, reels, carousels)
- YouTube (thumbnails, covers)
- Always-on and campaign content
- Translate briefs into high-quality, fast-turnaround outputs
- Execute multiple pieces of content daily while maintaining consistency and quality
Visual Hooks & Thumbnails
- Create strong visual hooks that grab attention within the first 2 seconds
- Design high-performing thumbnails with a clear understanding of:
- Composition
- Contrast
- Typography
- Emotional triggers
- Iterate based on feedback and performance
Platform-First Thinking
- Understand what works on:
- Instagram (scroll behavior, reel covers, carousels)
- YouTube (CTR-driven thumbnails)
- Apply platform trends and formats to everyday work
Design & Craft
- Maintain clean layouts, strong hierarchy, and attention to detail
- Ensure brand consistency across deliverables
- Work across static and basic motion formats (where required)
Collaboration
- Work closely with:
- Copywriters (to align on messaging and hooks)
- Creative leads (for direction and feedback)
- Account teams (for timelines and delivery)
- Be open to feedback and quick iterations
Trend Awareness
- Stay updated with:
- Social media trends
- Viral formats
- Emerging design styles
- Bring references and ideas to improve output quality
Your Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in a digital-first agency, content studio, or social team
- Portfolio showcasing:
- Social media creatives
- Thumbnails / engagement-driven designs
- Reel or short-form visual work
- Proficiency in:
- Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator
- Basic understanding of motion tools is a plus
