Graphic Designer

What you'll do:

• Design social media posts, carousels, banners, and campaign materials.
• Edit short-form videos and reels, including captions, graphics, and simple motion effects.
• Design newsletters, presentations, proposals, and event materials that clearly communicate our ideas.
• Adapt designs for Instagram, LinkedIn, email, our website, and other channels.
• Support product design tasks in Figma, such as designing interface screens, improving visual layouts, and preparing assets for the product team.
• Collaborate with colleagues across content, community, marketing, and product, from brief to final delivery.
• Keep GoMigro's visual identity consistent across all work.

What we're looking for:

• A portfolio showing strong digital design and short-form video work.
• Confidence using Canva and Figma, along with a video editing tool.
• An understanding of social media formats and how to design for different platforms and audiences.
• Strong spoken and written English. English is our working language, and you'll need to discuss ideas, understand feedback, and collaborate clearly with the team.
• The ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and take ownership of your work.
• An interest in immigrant experiences and GoMigro's mission.

This is a demanding, hands-on role in a growing startup. The work spans many formats, and priorities can change. We're looking for people who enjoy that variety, work well with others, and communicate openly.

Experience with UI design or motion graphics is a plus.
