Graphic Designer Role

The Graphic Designer needs to understand and interpret client requirements and should be well versed with IT sector terminologies. You'll be the one to shape the visual aspects of layouts, various designs, websites, books, magazines, product packaging, exhibitions, and more.Must have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs for digital print and web
• Use the appropriate colours and layouts for each graphic
• Work with copywriters and creative director to produce the final design
• Amend designs after feedback
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
• Study design briefs and determine requirements
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas

Attributes

• Proven graphic and other designing experience
• A strong portfolio of Design or other graphics
• Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe XD, Photoshop)
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Takes ownership and responsibility of the work assigned
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
• Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
• Core software skills:
• Adobe CC Photoshop, Illustrator
• InDesign, XD

Additional software skills:

• Basic HTML (needs to be executed mailers, newsletters) and MS PowerPoint
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in a reputed design house. Experience in creating designs for IT sector clients would is a plus
