Job Description
Role Overview
We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic Graphic Design Intern to join our design team and support the creation of high-quality visual content for Marma Fintech's digital products, marketing campaigns, brand communications, and online platforms.
The intern will work closely with the Design, Marketing, Product, and Development teams to transform ideas, concepts, and marketing requirements into visually engaging and effective designs. This role provides hands-on exposure to digital branding, marketing, website design, social media communication, product visuals, and fintech-related projects while helping the candidate build a strong professional design portfolio.
The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of fundamental design principles, a strong visual sense, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and experiment with new creative approaches.
Key Responsibilities
1. Graphic & Visual Design
Create professional and visually appealing graphics for digital platforms, marketing campaigns, and company communications.
Develop creative designs for social media posts, banners, advertisements, promotional materials, and digital campaigns.
Create visual assets that communicate information clearly and effectively to the target audience.
Adapt designs according to different platforms, formats, screen sizes, and communication requirements.
2. Branding & Visual Identity
Assist in maintaining consistency across all company branding and communication materials.
Support the development of logos, icons, brand elements, templates, illustrations, and other visual assets.
Follow established brand guidelines relating to colors, typography, imagery, layouts, and overall visual style.
Help ensure that all creative materials maintain a consistent and professional brand identity.
3. Social Media Design
Create engaging visual content for platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, YouTube, and other digital channels.
Design promotional posts, announcements, campaign creatives, event graphics, infographics, carousels, and cover images.
Work with the marketing team to convert campaign ideas into attractive visual content.
Understand different platform specifications and optimize creatives accordingly.
4. Marketing & Promotional Materials
Design marketing collateral such as:
Digital advertisements
Brochures
Posters
Flyers
Presentations
Company profiles
Email banners
Promotional banners
Infographics
Campaign materials
Support marketing campaigns by developing creative assets within agreed timelines.
Make necessary design modifications based on campaign requirements and feedback.
5. Website & Digital Product Design Support
Assist in creating visual assets for websites, web applications, landing pages, dashboards, and other digital products.
Work closely with developers and product teams to ensure that design assets are suitable for digital implementation.
Create icons, illustrations, banners, graphics, and other visual elements required for websites and applications.
Maintain visual consistency between marketing materials and digital products.
6. Presentation & Corporate Design
Create professional presentations, pitch decks, reports, and internal communication materials.
Design visually engaging layouts for business presentations and management reports.
Assist in preparing templates that can be reused across different departments.
Ensure presentations maintain proper alignment, typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
7. Image Editing & Creative Production
Perform image editing, retouching, resizing, cropping, background removal, and basic photo manipulation.
Prepare images and creative assets in appropriate formats for different digital platforms.
Optimize images for web and social media use while maintaining visual quality.
Create variations of existing designs based on different campaign or platform requirements.
8. Creative Concept Development
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute new creative ideas.
Convert creative briefs and marketing requirements into suitable visual concepts.
Research current design trends and identify creative approaches that can improve brand communication.
Experiment with different layouts, typography, imagery, and visual styles while maintaining brand consistency.
9. Collaboration & Feedback
Work closely with designers, marketers, developers, product teams, and other internal stakeholders.
Understand project requirements and clarify design expectations when necessary.
Take constructive feedback positively and make required revisions.
Coordinate with team members to ensure designs are completed and delivered within deadlines.
10. Design File Management
Maintain organized folders for design files, source files, templates, images, and other creative assets.
Follow proper naming and file-management practices.
Maintain editable/source files for future modifications and reuse.
Ensure final designs are exported in the correct formats and resolutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Pursuing or recently completed a degree, diploma, or certification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Multimedia, Media, or a related field.
Strong understanding of fundamental graphic design principles.
Basic to intermediate proficiency in design tools such as:
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Illustrator
Figma
Canva or similar design tools
Ability to create professional social media creatives, banners, presentations, advertisements, and marketing materials.
Basic knowledge of logo design, branding, icon design, and visual identity.
Good understanding of image editing and photo manipulation.
Ability to understand a design brief and convert requirements into an effective visual concept.
Strong attention to detail and visual quality.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work on multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
Willingness to learn new design tools, techniques, and industry trends.
