Role Overview

We are hiring Graph Database Experts for three specialized roles: Data Platform Engineer, Data Modeler, and Application Support Engineer. Candidates should have hands-on experience with graph database technologies and a strong understanding of graph-based solutions, data architecture, and database operations.

1. Data Platform Engineer - contributing to the development and refinement of the data platform blueprint and design, ensuring that all components align effectively.

Key Responsibilities & Skills

• Hands-on experience with graph databases such as Neo4j, TigerGraph, AWS Neptune, or similar.
• Strong proficiency in graph modeling, graph integration, and query optimization.
• Experience building scalable ETL pipelines for graph data processing.

2. Data Modeler - The role focuses on understanding existing data structures and designing new data models that align with business needs and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities & Skills

• Design and develop ontologies, taxonomies, and controlled vocabularies using OWL, RDFS, and SKOS.
• Elicit and model domain knowledge through stakeholder interviews and workshops.
• Implement and validate semantic/knowledge graphs using Neo4j, Amazon Neptune, or Stardog.
• Write SPARQL queries and implement SHACL/ShEx constraints for data validation.
• Validate ontology consistency using reasoners such as HermiT or Pellet.

3. Application Support Engineer - Acting as a software detective by proactively identifying and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems.

Key Responsibilities & Skills

• Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and load structured and unstructured data into graph databases.
• Build and maintain knowledge graph infrastructure on platforms such as Neo4j, Stardog, Amazon Neptune, Stardog, or Apache Jena — including indexing, query optimization, and availability tuning.
