We are looking for an energetic Graduate Trainee Engineer to join the Marketing function and support business development, tender intelligence, client engagement, and technical-commercial documentation across Ramelex's transmission line products and services. This is a launchpad role for an engineering graduate who wants to build a career at the intersection of engineering and business — learning the EHV transmission domain while developing marketing, proposal-writing, and stakeholder-management skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in preparing techno-commercial proposals, presentations, and marketing collateral for PGCIL, State Transmission Utilities (STUs), and other power sector clients.
• Support tender research and competitor/pricing analysis using historical bid data to aid strategic pricing decisions.
• Coordinate with the Tender, Design, and R&D teams to gather technical inputs for client submissions, pre-bid clarifications, and product literature.
• Maintain and update CRM/MIS trackers for leads, tenders, client interactions, and follow-ups across Ramelex's profit centers.
• Assist in organizing and staffing exhibitions, industry conferences, and client visits (e.g., CIGRÉ, power sector summits, utility field visits).
• Support drafting of client correspondence, product notes, case studies, and recognition/approval submissions (e.g., CEA/PFI documentation).
• Conduct market research on domestic and international transmission line markets to identify new business opportunities.
• Assist the Marketing Head and Business Development Manager with reporting, presentations, and MIS for management reviews.
• Travel periodically to project sites, client offices, and exhibitions as required.
