Strada Pay is a product innovation that created Strada own IP Cloud payroll engine based on no code / low code set-up so that country payroll can operate in a touch-less manner, meaning payroll rules and requirements are built through configuration rather than coding. Strada Pay is our cloud-based payroll platform.

We are building a Centre of Excellence (COE) team that focuses on setting up and maintaining country payroll solutions within Strada. As a Graduate Payroll Configuration Associate, you will be trained in all aspects of Strada Pay and will focus purely on configuring payroll solutions correctly and consistently.

The COE team is an extended part of the Payroll Product organization and is responsible of ensuring that Strada's Cloud Pays Country Solutions are set up the right way with best practices and standards in mind, bring consistence in set-up across our country payrolls.

The Payroll Configuration Specialist role will be part of the COE team where the key focus will be to help configure and set up the standard country payroll solution by working closely with the Payroll Country Owners (PCOs), Products Management, Engineering and QA teams. They will be involved in using our Strada Cloud Pay Excel workbook in configuring country requirements and rules. The set-up includes updating and maintaining payroll data model workbooks, payroll calculations workbooks and payroll outputs (report and interfaces) workbooks needed to deliver a compliant country payroll, whilst adhering to best practices and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of Strada Payroll own IP solution at a functional/ technical as well as business level.
  • Support the network of Payroll Country Owners (PCOs) who are local country payroll experts by understanding the country payroll requirements or client reporting needs and then using Strada Cloud Pay's low code / no code framework, configure the needed solution using Strada Cloud Pay excel workbooks.
  • Test payroll configurations and updates to ensure accuracy.
  • Identify and resolve payroll system issues and discrepancies.
  • Maintain and adhere to Strada Cloud Pays best practices and standards to ensure consistency across countries.
  • Work with other product teams members to understand the more complex requirements, gaps, or issues to better our Strada Cloud Pay framework capabilities.
  • Ensure work is tracked, reported, and managed in line with the Strada Product SDLC and DevOps process.
  • Flag and manage issues and / or risks that impact the country localization delivery plan.
  • Provide coaching and advice to the PCOs and other business stakeholder, on Strada Cloud Pay solution and capabilities.
  • Develop guides and documentation for Strada Cloud Pay framework capabilities.
  • Collaborates with Engineering team and stakeholders to detected new features and user stories, based on requirements that include acceptance criteria and acceptance tests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Information Technology (BE/ B.Tech) with 65% from 10th to Bachelor or a related field.
  • Experience in payroll processing and / or payroll system configuration.
  • Excellent to Advanced knowledge of Excel is a must.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Any country legislative payroll knowledge is a plus.
  • Service-oriented and pro-active with a keen sense of Accountability.
  • Excellent Team Player collaborating with various teams.
  • Self-starter and pro-active and with a how to / can do mind set.
  • Any experienced working with Azure DevOps or similar (Jira) welcomed.
  • Willingness to learn and further develop your career in a Cloud Payroll configuration and support environment.
  • Fluent in English (written, oral).
