Role Overview
We are looking for highly motivated Graduate Management Trainees (GMTs) – Project Management & Operations who aspire to build a career at the intersection of engineering, technology, execution, and business operations.
This role is designed for fresh MBA graduates who possess a strong engineering foundation and are excited about managing complex technology projects in a fast-paced deep-tech environment. As a GMT, you will work closely with project managers, engineering teams, product developers, vendors, and leadership to ensure smooth execution of product development programs from concept to commercialization. This is not a conventional operations role. It is an opportunity to gain exposure to real-world product development, R&D execution, strategic planning, cross-functional coordination, and technology-driven project management.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
- Support planning and execution of product development projects across Aerospace, Defence, Medical Devices, AI, IoT, and Embedded Systems.
- Assist in defining project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate activities between engineering, design, procurement, testing, certification, and business teams.
- Track project progress and proactively identify potential delays, risks, and bottlenecks.
Project Monitoring & Reporting
- Maintain project trackers, dashboards, status reports, and execution documentation.
- Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Generate periodic management reports and project updates.
- Support leadership in reviewing project performance and resource utilization.
Cross-Functional Execution
- Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication across engineering, operations, supply chain, vendors, and management.
- Ensure smooth information flow and alignment between teams.
- Participate in project review meetings and follow-up activities.
Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities for operational improvements.
- Support implementation of structured project management practices and process optimization initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of SOPs, documentation standards, and execution frameworks.
- Assist in building scalable systems for managing multiple concurrent projects.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with suppliers, fabrication partners, testing agencies, certification bodies, and service providers.
- Track procurement timelines and support vendor follow-ups.
- Ensure project dependencies are managed effectively to avoid execution delays.
Documentation & Quality Management
- Maintain project records, meeting minutes, action trackers, and technical documentation.
- Support quality assurance processes and compliance-related activities.
- Assist teams in maintaining structured project documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
AI-Driven Project Management
- Leverage AI tools to improve project planning, reporting, documentation, data analysis, and workflow automation.
- Explore AI-driven methods to improve team productivity and project visibility.
- Build efficient systems that reduce manual effort and improve execution speed.
