Aaditi Stonesoup is a women-led climate change enterprise focused on creating zero waste cities through sustainable waste management. We work on the circular economy around organic waste to have a positive impact on health and the environment. Our mission is to help communities manage waste responsibly, efficiently, and professionally at a reasonable cost. We offer products and services that enable decentralized organic waste management at source, reducing the waste footprint. Last year, we diverted over 3,000 tonnes of waste from landfills and returned more than 50 tons back to farms through composting as a service.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for Graduate Interns located in Bengaluru. The Graduate Interns will be involved in various day-to-day tasks such as assisting in waste management projects, conducting research, developing sustainable waste management strategies, and providing support for community engagement initiatives. Interns will also gather and analyze data, assist in the implementation of waste reduction programs, and collaborate with team members to ensure project goals are met.

Qualifications

• Research and data analysis skills
• Ability to develop and implement sustainable waste management strategies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for community engagement initiatives
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
• Passionate about environmental sustainability and climate change
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainable Development, or related field
• Experience in waste management, use of AI tools or related field is a plus
