Job Description
> New Product Development : Product Sample Arrangement, Product Proto Evaluation, Product Testing and Qualification, Technical Specification release, Cost Estimate, DFMEA / DFM / DFA, Pilot Production, Competition bench-marking .
- Selection of components & system simulation of coil, compressor & shortlisted ref. components. Feasibility study of the selected components for implementation & coordinating with Vendors for any modification.
- Coordinating with the Project CFT members regarding the Project plan, timeline & cost and executing each activity of the plan.
- Performance & Reliability Testing : Planning of test labs, readiness of the mock up & prototype units to meet the test requirements, monitoring the tests & taking timely decisions & documenting the observations/ conclusions.
- Ensuring first time Right by Conducting Prepilot & Pilot batches by coordinating with Plant CFT & vendors for materials & implementing the suggested changes in Product & Process.
- PLM documentation & deliverable, SAP BOM routing, costing, material/ FG codes & phase gate structure of NPD to be followed.
> Field Failure Rate Improvement : Failure Sample analysis, CAPA for sample improvement, Design improvement / New Component Development, Supplier visit quality improvement
Trouble shooting through on line platforms or field visit if required.
