Appropriate academic qualifications (Bachelor's/ Master's Degree in Electrical, Electronics and/or Communications Engineering or equivalent).
Basic understanding of Traffic Signals and/or Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS).
Passion for designing and developing trafficsignalized intersections and ITS solutions, including Variable Message Signs (VMS), CCTV systems, vehicle detection systems, power and communication networks.
Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate ITS components into broader transport and infrastructure projects.
Basic understanding of British, American, Canadian, and other international design standards and specifications (training will be provided).
Basic knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Trimble Pro for electrical calculations.
Familiarity with modern communication tools and online working platforms.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel and Word.
Ability to deliver assigned tasks within set time frames.
Willingness to learn to work independently and gradually take responsibility for small tasks or components of projects.
Exposure to or interest in working within an offshoring/global delivery environment (desirable).
Interest in digital delivery tools and methods (desirable).
Ability to collaborate with wider teams and eagerness to learn from engineers/senior engineers/leads.
