About The NATS Program
This role is offered under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS), a flagship initiative of the Government of India designed to equip Indian youth with practical, trade-specific skills. Administered under the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961 (amended in 1973), this program at Volvo Group offers engineering graduates and diploma holders a structured, 1-year practical, hands-on On-the-Job Training (OJT) opportunity to build industry-ready capabilities.

You have completed B.E. in Industrial, Production, Mechanical, or Automobile Engineering

What You Will Do
- Basic Knowledge about RULA, REBA, OWAS, NIOSH lifting equations etc
- Conduct ergonomic risk assessments on production/assembly workstations using Volvo Ergonomics Standard method.
- Develop ergonomic improvement concepts and support their implementation on the shop floor.
- Support in Value added & non-value-added activities study on Production line- Time study, Spaghetti chart for motion study
- Standard operating procedures preparation & frequent validation
- One point lesson preparation & frequent validation
- Additional instructions, Temporary instructions preparation & frequent validation
- Support to work on process & quality issues to have temporary & permanent action
- Working on layout modification preparation/updation in AutoCAD
- Prepare local tooling drawing
- Support in documentation & data analysis
