Job Description

Senior Executive / Manager – Government Liaison, Approvals & Compliance

Real Estate / Hospitality / Infrastructure Projects – Jaipur & Rajasthan

A diversified and growing project development group is looking for a highly capable professional to handle government liaison, statutory approvals, and regulatory coordination for real estate, hospitality, and infrastructure-related projects across Rajasthan.

The role requires a practical, resourceful, and proactive individual with strong knowledge of building approvals, land matters, government procedures, and inter-departmental coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Government Liaison & Approvals

  • Handle end-to-end liaison work with government departments, local authorities, development authorities, municipalities, Housing Board, revenue departments, RIICO, JDA, Town Planning, UITs, tourism departments, and related agencies.
  • Coordinate and follow up for:
  • Building plan approvals
  • Land use conversion / change of land use (CLU)
  • Lease deed and land title related matters
  • NOCs and statutory permissions
  • Completion and occupancy related approvals
  • Commercial and hospitality project approvals
  • Visit government offices regularly, meet concerned officials, and ensure timely movement and closure of files.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of practical procedures, documentation requirements, and departmental processes.

Regulatory & Research Responsibilities

  • Study and interpret:
  • Building bylaws
  • Development control regulations
  • Land and property related rules
  • Government circulars, notifications, and policies
  • Track changes in laws, procedures, and approval systems.
  • Conduct independent research and prepare notes/summaries for management.
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, structural engineers, legal advisors, and government representatives.

Commercial, Accounts & Administrative Coordination

  • Assist in: Purchase coordination
  • Vendor documentation
  • Basic accounts and billing follow-up
  • File management and documentation
  • Preparation of official correspondence and submissions
  • Maintain organized records of approvals, applications, licenses, and compliance documentation.

Technology & Documentation

  • Use modern digital tools and AI applications for:
  • Drafting letters and submissions
  • Research and document analysis
  • Data compilation and reporting
  • Presentations and communication
  • Must be comfortable using MS Office, Google Workspace, PDFs, drafting/documentation tools, and AI-assisted productivity software.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Strong practical experience in government liaison and approvals related to real estate, construction, hospitality, infrastructure, or land development projects.
  • Good understanding of Rajasthan building bylaws, approval procedures, land documentation, and statutory compliances.
  • Ability to independently pursue matters with departments and get work executed efficiently.
  • Smart, presentable, confident, and professionally persistent in follow-ups.
  • Strong research orientation and ability to understand technical/legal/regulatory documents.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills in Hindi and English.
  • High level of integrity, ownership, and confidentiality.

Preferred Background

Candidates with experience in any of the following will be preferred:

  • Real estate developers
  • Architectural or liaison firms
  • Hospitality projects
  • Government approval consultancy
  • Infrastructure or township projects
  • Land and conversion related consultancy

Experience

  • Approximately 5–15 years of relevant experience (Flexible for exceptionally capable candidates)
