About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Google Document AI Developer with hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, develop, and support Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solutions. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Google Document AI, OCR, Python, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, REST APIs, and workflow automation to build secure, scalable, and high-performance document processing applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement intelligent document processing solutions using Google Document AI.
• Build document extraction, classification, parsing, and OCR-based automation workflows.
• Develop and maintain applications using Python and Google Cloud services.
• Integrate Google Document AI with enterprise applications using RESTful APIs.
• Configure and manage Google Cloud Storage and Pub/Sub for document ingestion and event-driven processing.
• Develop and optimize document processing pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with business, data, and engineering teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Ensure data security, quality, compliance, and governance across document processing workflows.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing application support.
• Prepare technical documentation and follow development best practices.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Google Document AI
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Experience with OCR (Optical Character Recognition)
• Experience with Google Cloud Storage
• Experience with Google Pub/Sub
• Experience integrating applications using RESTful APIs
• Good understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Knowledge of document extraction, classification, and workflow automation
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solutions
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts related to document intelligence
• Experience with JSON, document parsing, and structured/unstructured data processing
• Experience working with cloud-native architectures
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience

• 2–5 years of overall IT experience.
• Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience with Google Document AI or related Google Cloud technologies.
