About The Opportunity
We operate in the Cloud Data Engineering and Analytics sector delivering scalable, secure, and cost-optimized data platforms on Google Cloud for enterprise customers across finance, retail, and SaaS verticals. The team builds production-grade ETL/ELT systems, real-time analytics, and data models that power business intelligence and ML workflows.
Role: Google Cloud Data Engineer (On-site, India) work with cross-functional product and analytics teams to design, build, and operate data pipelines and platforms using Google Cloud technologies.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust batch and streaming data pipelines on GCP using Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain data models and analytics datasets in BigQuery for low-latency reporting and ML feature stores.
- Author and maintain orchestration workflows and CI/CD for data pipelines using Apache Airflow and Terraform.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product owners to translate business requirements into reliable data solutions and SLAs.
- Implement monitoring, logging, cost-optimization, and data governance controls (access patterns, partitioning, table lifecycle).
- Drive platform reliability through code reviews, performance tuning, and operational runbooks; mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

- GCP certification(s) such as Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer or equivalent is a plus.
- Must be eligible to work on-site in India and collaborate across India time zones.
