Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Google Cloud Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-scale cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in cloud architecture, modernization strategies, security, automation, and cloud-native technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives for enterprise applications and infrastructure

Define cloud architecture standards, governance frameworks, and best practices

Collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams, and leadership to drive cloud transformation strategies

Design networking, security, identity, and disaster recovery solutions on GCP

Optimize cloud performance, scalability, cost, and operational efficiency

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and automation tools

Mentor engineering teams on cloud-native design patterns and DevOps practices

Required Skills

Strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) architecture and implementation

Expertise in Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, VPC, IAM, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Cloud SQL

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration

Strong knowledge of Cloud Security, Identity & Access Management, and Compliance frameworks

Experience with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices

Knowledge of Hybrid Cloud and Multi-Cloud architectures

Strong understanding of networking, monitoring, observability, and disaster recovery strategies

Experience in application modernization and cloud migration programs

Preferred Qualifications

GCP Professional Cloud Architect Certification

Experience with Data Engineering and Analytics services on GCP

Exposure to AI/ML services and cloud-native application architectures

Experience working with large-scale enterprise transformation programs
