We are looking for a skilled Google Cloud Administrator with 23 years of experience to manage and maintain our infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will handle deployment, security, monitoring, and troubleshooting, ensuring high availability and performance across cloud-based applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and manage Google Cloud services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, GKE, IAM, VPC, etc.).
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
- Implement and manage IAM roles, permissions, and policies to enforce least-privilege access.
- Automate cloud operations using Terraform or Python scripts.
- Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines for GCP-based applications.
- Troubleshoot network, storage, and compute issues across GCP environments.
- Configure and manage logging and monitoring using Prometheus, Cloud Logging, or similar tools.
- Implement security best practices (encryption, firewall rules, compliance frameworks).
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams for cloud optimization.
- Handle cost optimization by analyzing and improving resource utilization.
Required
23 years of hands-on experience in managing GCP environments.
- Strong experience with Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, IAM, VPC, Kubernetes (GKE), and Cloud Functions.
- Practical knowledge of Terraform or other IaC tools.
- Proficiency in Linux administration and basic networking.
- Experience with CI/CD, automation, and cloud monitoring tools.
- Good problem-solving skills with a focus on reliability, performance, and cost optimization.
- GCP Certification (Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect) is a plus.
