Role Overview

MethodPro is seeking a hybrid Google Ads and AI Automation Specialist to manage paid search campaigns across a portfolio of 1015 dental practice clients. This is not a straight replacement role we are looking for someone who can both execute high-quality Google Ads management and progressively build automation tooling to improve efficiency and reporting across our client portfolio.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Senior Paid Media Strategist during an initial onboarding period, then operate with increasing independence over time.

Core Responsibilities

Google Ads Management

Own day-to-day campaign management across all assigned dental practice accounts

Monitor and optimize bidding strategies, keyword performance, quality scores, and ad copy

Manage budgets, pacing, and campaign structure for local search, service-line, and competitor campaigns

Conduct regular account audits and implement improvements proactively

Ensure conversion tracking is functioning correctly across all accounts

AI & Automation Development

Identify repetitive manual tasks across the account portfolio and build automation to reduce or eliminate them

Develop prompt-driven workflows for ad copy generation, testing, and iteration at scale

Build or configure automated performance reporting and alert systems

Explore and implement use of Google Ads scripts or API connections to improve operational efficiency

Document all automation tools and workflows for team use

Reporting & Communication

Produce clear, consistent performance reports for internal use and client delivery

Contribute to client-facing reporting improvements using automation and AI tooling

Communicate proactively about account performance, issues, and opportunities

Required Skills & Experience

Google Ads (Must Have)

Minimum 23 years managing Google Ads campaigns, preferably in an agency or multi-account environment

Solid command of campaign structure, match types, bidding strategies (Smart Bidding, tCPA, tROAS), and ad extensions

Experience with conversion tracking setup and troubleshooting (Google Tag Manager preferred)

Familiarity with Google Ads automation features including automated rules, scripts, and Smart campaigns

Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously with attention to detail

AI & Automation (Must Have)

Demonstrated experience using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) for marketing tasks not just casual use, but structured workflow integration

Has built at least one automation, reporting pipeline, script, or AI-assisted workflow even if small in scope

Comfortable working with APIs or no-code/low-code tools (e.g., Zapier, Make, Google Apps Script) to connect data sources

Ability to think systematically about which parts of a process can be automated or templated

General

Strong written English communication skills for internal documentation and reporting

Organized and self-directed able to manage a portfolio of accounts without constant supervision once ramped

Comfortable working within a remote team environment across time zones

Nice to Have

Experience in healthcare, dental, or local services verticals

Familiarity with Google Ads API or MCC (Manager Account) management

Experience with reporting tools such as Looker Studio (formerly Data Studio), Google Sheets automation, or similar

Basic Python or JavaScript knowledge for script writing

Experience with call tracking platforms (e.g., CallRail) common in dental/healthcare PPC

What We Are Not Looking For

To help focus the search, this role is not the right fit for:

Pure Google Ads operators with no interest or experience in automation or AI tooling

Pure developers or AI engineers with no hands-on paid search management experience

Candidates who have only used AI tools passively (e.g., using ChatGPT for occasional copy) without building any structured workflows

Onboarding & Team Context

The new hire will be brought into an existing portfolio of 1015 active dental practice accounts. Our Senior Paid Media Strategist is currently managing these accounts directly and will provide close day-to-day mentorship during the initial onboarding period. The expectation is a gradual handoff of account ownership as capability and confidence are established.

Over time, we expect this person to take a leading role in how automation and AI tooling are integrated into our Google Ads operations this is a build-as-you-go opportunity, not a rigid playbook execution role.
