Role Description

The Senior Engineer designs and implements technical solutions and configures applications in different environments in response to business problems. With the partial/ full ownership of Production platforms, Senior Engineer is required to ensure environment stability, expeditious and timely resolution of Production issues, ensuring minimal downtimes and continuity of services. Further the Senior Engineer investigates, proposes and implements various solutions, standardizing where possible, to ensures stability and reliability of the application platforms. The person performing the role may lead delivery of other members of the team and controls their work where applicable.

Your key responsibilities

• Design and develop new functionality
• Working with the team on functional and non-functional requirements, technical analysis and design
• Coding and testing, reviewing other team member's changes. Unit test automation of new and existing functionality for maximum code coverage.
• Document business and functional requirements, design decisions and API
• Co-working with QA team on test automation of new and existing functionality
• Contribute to the definition of the future state of the system architecture
• Strong knowledge on GoldenSource product or similar EDM products.
• Good understanding of Security market domain will be added value
• Able to manage a small team to mentor them for development and delivery

Your skills and experience

• 8 to 15 years of proven experience with must have Goldensource 8.x experience for more than 5 years
• Additional Working experience/Knowledge of Any other EDM product will be preferred.
• Good understanding of product specific components like Mapping designer, GS datamodel, Connectors, GSO, Business rule development , workflow and UI.
• Proficiency in Oracle or any other Sql Language for writing complex queries and oracle stored procedures/functions. Any experience in Database Performance tuning would be highly preferred.
• Proficient in Agile Development and understanding/knowledge of JIRA
• Good understanding of Java and Unix is preferred.
• Strong desire to build, sense of ownership, urgency and drive.
• Excellent, verbal and written communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of JSON, and XML to JSON transformation.
• Prior experience working in a CI/CD environment with TeamCity/Jenkins is preferred.
• Additional Working experience/Knowledge of GoldenSource product will be preferred.
• Experience working in an agile team, practicing Scrum, Kanban or XP
• Exposure to Cloud platforms like GCP/AWS/Azure is good to have.
• Exposure to frameworks like Junit, Mockito, Cucumber etc. for implementation and unit testing.
• Ability to produce well-tested, documented, high-performance code to tight schedules

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent) - with a minor in Finance, Mathematics or Engineering preferred.
