About the Role

The Gold Loan Multi-Branch Valuer and Process Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring accurate gold jewellery assessments, efficient documentation, and smooth loan origination processes across multiple branches. This role involves coordinating with internal valuers and auditors, training branch staff, managing external billing, and maintaining turnaround times (TAT) and compliance standards. The incumbent will also be responsible for safeguarding company assets and upholding confidentiality and integrity in all transactions.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct gold loan valuations using standardized methods and tools.
  • Perform thorough checks to assess the purity of gold collateral.
  • Ensure timely disbursal of cases within defined turnaround times (TAT).
  • Visit nearby branches for stock audits and valuation activities.
  • Monitor delinquent cases and support branches in managing portfolio quality.
  • Deliver training sessions to branch staff on gold loan valuation and fraud awareness.
  • Maintain integrity and transparency in all transactions, avoiding any direct or indirect personal interest.
  • Conduct customer reference checks with sincerity and professionalism.
  • Ensure strict confidentiality of client information and prevent sharing with competitors.
  • Adhere to company policies and ensure they are not disclosed outside the organization.
  • Safeguard company assets provided for job responsibilities.
  • Support in on-boarding external valuers
  • Support in Valuer payout processing being spoke for the region

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Support documentation and loan origination system (LOS) processes.
  • Coordinate with internal valuers and auditors for operational alignment.
  • Raise billing requests for external valuers in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure adoption of best practices and maintain optimal process efficiency across branches.

What We Are Looking For

Education

  • Graduation: Full time graduate in any discipline from a recognised institution.
  • Post-graduation: Postgraduate in any discipline from a recognised institution.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in gold valuation, loan processing, or retail banking operations within BFSI industry.

Skills and Attributes

  • Strong knowledge of gold purity assessment and valuation techniques.
  • Familiarity with loan origination systems and documentation processes.
  • Excellent training and coordination skills.
  • High ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality.
  • Ability to travel across branches and work in field conditions.
  • Attention to detail and adherence to compliance norms.
