Job Brief:- AU Small Finance Bank Limited is seeking a meticulous and experienced professional to join our Operations and Services team, specializing in the evaluation and appraisal of gold assets for loan processing. This role demands a deep understanding of gold valuation techniques, market trends, and regulatory compliance within the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring accurate assessment of gold collateral, thereby supporting the bank's lending operations and risk management strategies. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to uphold the bank's standards of service excellence and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:-

Conduct thorough and accurate appraisal of gold items submitted as collateral for loan processing, ensuring adherence to industry standards and bank policies.
Evaluate the purity, weight, and market value of gold assets using standardized testing methods and tools.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of gold market trends, pricing fluctuations, and regulatory guidelines affecting gold loan operations.
Collaborate with loan officers and operations teams to verify collateral details and support timely loan disbursement.
Prepare detailed appraisal reports and documentation to support loan approval and audit processes.
Ensure compliance with all internal controls, legal requirements, and audit standards related to gold asset evaluation.
Identify and report any discrepancies or potential risks associated with gold collateral to senior management.
Participate in training sessions and continuous learning initiatives to enhance appraisal techniques and industry knowledge.
Manage and maintain appraisal equipment and tools to ensure accuracy and reliability in evaluations.
Support the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance appraisal efficiency and accuracy.

Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks governing gold loans and collateral management.
Proven track record of accuracy and integrity in asset valuation and loan processing.
